Submitting Ramp application for AP-only
Applying for the Bill Pay only experience on Ramp follows the same process and flow as applying for Ramp today. The key difference is when making the product selection, make sure to select the “Accounts Payable” product bundle.

Referring clients from the advisor console
If you are an external firm on the Ramp Advisor Console, you can continue to refer clients through the Advisor console by following the steps outlined here.
If you are referring a client for Ramp Bill Pay only, you can pre-select the desired product bundle through the normal referral flow.
What the AP-only experience includes
Ramp Bill Pay only product bundle gives customers access to the necessary tools and modules to process their AP on Ramp without the added credit card and expense management functions. Specifically, customers on the “Accounts Payable” bundle, will have access to the following tabs on Ramp:
- Inbox - manage any required approvals for Bill Pay, Vendors, or Procurement (if Plus)
- Company - manage company policies and accounts
- Bill Pay - manage invoices and bill payments to vendors. Learn more here
- Vendors - manage vendor information and payment details. Learn more here
- Treasury - store operating funds into a deposit account on Ramp. Learn more here
- Procurement (if Plus) - capture purchase request on Ramp. Learn more here
With the Accounts Payable product bundle, customers can take advantage of key AP features like invoice OCR, automatic accounting syncing, multi-payment method support, vendor contract management, and much more.
However, it's important to note, features involving the Ramp credit card like paying bills via card are not supported on the Accounts Payable product bundle and require upgrade to the full Ramp product suite.
Upgrading product suite
As your company needs evolve and expand, so too can your Ramp product experience. Ramp offers seamless ways to upgrade the Accounts Payable product bundle to include our Procurement module or advanced AP features like batch payments and payment approvals. Similarly, if desired, customers can later choose to include the full Ramp product suite which includes corporate cards and our other expense management tools.
Procurement and advanced Bill Pay features
To upgrade your Accounts Payable product bundle to include the Procurement module and other advanced Bill Pay features, please follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Settings
- Click Ramp Plus
- Click Start your free trial or Request a meeting
- Fill out the requested information
Full Ramp suite
To gain access to the full Ramp suite including corporate cards, reimbursements, and other expense management features, please follow the steps below:
- Click the Upgrade to Ramp suite banner in the navigation bar and select Get started
- Review and acknowledge terms and conditions to upgrade
- Refresh and use the full Ramp product!
