Banking navigation changes

Overview

Banking navigation is changing. If your Banking menu shows Overview and Linked accounts, follow those instructions below. If it shows Accounts instead, follow the Accounts instructions; Bank transactions may also appear if you have access.

Find accounts and transactions

• Linked bank accounts: Use Banking > Linked accounts for linked accounts and Banking > Overview for Ramp accounts. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, find both in Banking > Accounts. Which accounts you can see depends on your access to those accounts. See Ramp bank connections overview.

The newer Accounts overview shows Total current balance or Total available balance for accounts included by the current filters, in the configured currency. Accounts without a converted balance may not contribute to the total.

• Bank activity: Open an account from Overview to review its activity. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, open an account there; if Bank transactions also appears, open Banking > Bank transactions for transactions across accounts. Some account pages offer an account switcher. See Ramp Banking accounting.

Find account actions

• Add a connection: In Banking > Linked accounts, select Add linked account. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, open Banking > Accounts and select Add account > Add new connection. See Ramp bank connections overview.
• Reconnect: In Linked accounts, use the action shown by the disconnected account. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, a notice may offer Reconnect for one connection or Review accounts for multiple connections needing attention. See Reconnecting your direct bank connection.
• Upload a statement: For a manual account needing a statement, use the action shown in Linked accounts. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, look for Upload statement there. See Uploading bank statements to Ramp.
• Documents and automations: In Overview, use the Documents and Automations tabs. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, View documents and Automations are in its page menu when you have access. See Ramp Banking automations.
• Payment sources and alerts: Find Payment sources on Linked accounts when permitted, and use the older low-balance preference in Notifications if it appears. If your Banking menu shows Accounts instead, the page menu has Payment sources when available; linked or Ramp Checking account row menus may show Manage balance alerts when available to your business and permitted for your account.
