Ramp Banking Low Balance Notifications

Overview

Banking balance alerts let you monitor an account against a threshold. During the Banking navigation transition, the available threshold setting and notification preference may differ by business and account access. Overdraft emails are separate from low-balance alerts.

Set a Banking balance threshold

• Older low-balance setting: If a low-balance setting appears in Notifications, use it for your Ramp Checking Account. This setting may be absent even if your Banking menu shows Overview. If neither setting is available, ask an Admin with Banking access to check which account alert controls your business can use.
• Per-account balance alerts: If you can open Banking > Accounts, check the linked account or Ramp Checking Account row menu for Manage balance alerts. If the action appears and you have permission to manage the account, set its minimum balance threshold; the alert triggers when its balance falls below that threshold.

Manage balance alert emails

If the older low-balance preference appears in Notifications, use its email setting. If Balance threshold alerts appears instead, check its email preference; receiving these emails also depends on your access to the account. Changing a balance alert does not turn off overdraft emails.
