Overview
As a Ramp customer, you’re required to establish a connection to your business’s bank account. For international entities, this comes in the form of a manual connection.
We currently support making payments from local Canadian dollar (CAD) and Euro (EUR) international bank accounts. Read more below about how it works for each currency.

Connecting a CAD bank account
Follow these steps to connect a CAD bank account manually to your Ramp business:
- Navigate to Settings > Company settings > Financial accounts
- Click on Add bank account
- Adjust the Account currency to CAD
- Enter the details requested and review:
- Click I Agree
- You can now add your CAD bank account to your respective Canadian entity by navigating to Settings > Entities > Select [Your Entity] > Payments.
Connecting a EUR bank account
Follow these steps to connect a EUR bank account manually to your Ramp business:

- Navigate to Settings > Company settings > Financial accounts
- Click on Add bank account
- Adjust the Account currency to EUR
- Enter the details requested and review:
- Click I Agree
- You’ll notice that a set of PDFs will be generated for you with the above agreements. You must download these documents by clicking Download PDFs and submit them with your bank to authorize Ramp to debit your EUR bank account for various services. If you do not file these documents in your banking portal, Ramp’s attempts to debit your account will fail, and you may risk service disruption.
- You'll need to confirm that the mandate has been submitted to your bank before making any payments. You can confirm submission by navigating to Settings > Entities > Select [Your EUR Entity] > Payments.
Connecting a GBP bank account
Follow these steps to connect a GBP bank account manually to your Ramp business:
- Navigate to Settings > Company settings > Financial accounts
- Click on Add bank account
- Adjust the Account currency to GBP
- Enter the details requested and review:
- Click I Agree
- You can now add your GBP bank account to your respective GBP entity by navigating to Settings > Entities > Select [Your Entity] > Payments.
- Note that it can take up to 10 business days for the Bacs network to make GBP bank accounts accessible for debit.
