Connect ChatGPT Enterprise to AI Token Spend Management
Overview
Connect ChatGPT Enterprise so Ramp can import your usage and cost data into AI Token Spend Management.
Note: Provider setup is the same whether your business has a standalone AI Token Spend Management account or a core Ramp account.
Before you connect ChatGPT Enterprise
To connect ChatGPT Enterprise, you must belong to a ChatGPT Enterprise account. You cannot connect using a personal account. See Check whether you have a ChatGPT Enterprise account.
Business Admins, Owners, IT Admins, and users with the AI Token Spend Admin Custom Role can connect providers for core Ramp accounts. Owners and Admins can connect providers for standalone accounts. If you do not have one of these roles, ask someone who does to connect the provider.
OpenAI Platform and ChatGPT Enterprise
The OpenAI Platform is for developers building custom AI-powered apps, agents, and workflows through APIs and SDKs. ChatGPT Enterprise is a ready-to-use AI workspace for employees, with administrative controls such as SSO, SCIM, domain verification, and usage insights. Use the Platform when you need to embed AI into your own product or internal system. Use ChatGPT Enterprise when employees need direct access to ChatGPT for everyday work. Many organizations use both, but they have separate access and billing.
How to connect ChatGPT Enterprise

- Go to the Connect ChatGPT Enterprise page on Ramp.
- In a separate tab, go to the ChatGPT Enterprise Credentials page. Select the ChatGPT Enterprise workspace whose Workspace ID you will enter in Ramp.
- Select Create new admin key. If you do not have access to this page, Ramp will email the right admin or Owner to do it for you.

- Copy your Workspace ID and paste it into the OpenAI Workspace ID field in Ramp. The Workspace ID must match the workspace selected when you create the Admin API key.

- Under Permissions, select Restricted.
- Set Codex analytics API to Read.
- Grant
chatgpt.enterprise.usage_limit.readso Ramp can read usage-limit settings. - If you plan to use Ramp to control workspace usage limits, also grant

Ramp requires chatgpt.enterprise.usage_limit.read to read workspace usage-limit settings. It requires chatgpt.enterprise.usage_limit.write only when you use Ramp to control those limits.

- Select Submit and copy your key.
- Paste it into the Admin API key field in Ramp and select Connect.
