Use Ramp on your desktop
Overview
Ramp is a browser-based web application — there is no native desktop app for Windows or Mac. You access Ramp on your computer by signing in through a web browser. What you can do once signed in depends on your role and the Ramp products your business uses. If you use Chrome, Edge, or Safari, you can also install Ramp as a desktop shortcut for quick access.

Sign in to Ramp on your computer
Open app.ramp.com in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox — and sign in with your Ramp credentials. Ramp runs entirely in the browser, so no download or installation is required.
Install Ramp as a desktop shortcut
Some browsers let you install Ramp as a shortcut that opens in its own window, separate from your other browser tabs. This creates a shortcut to the Ramp web app — not a separate download.
Chrome or Edge (Windows or Mac)
- Sign in to Ramp at app.ramp.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Look for the install icon in your browser's address bar, or open the browser menu and select Install Ramp.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add Ramp to your desktop or taskbar.
Safari (Mac, macOS Sonoma or later)
- Sign in to Ramp at app.ramp.com in Safari.
- Open the Share menu in the toolbar and select Add to Dock.
- Ramp appears in your Dock as a standalone app.
Once installed, you can launch Ramp directly from your desktop, taskbar, or Dock without opening a browser first.
Note: Firefox does not support installing web apps as desktop shortcuts.
