Uber integration: Set up for admins

Overview

Automate expense reporting with Uber and Uber Eats. Employees will be able to ride with Uber or order from Uber Eats without having to manually submit their receipts. Ramp will automatically collect, verify, and match the expenses!

What do I need to set up the Uber integration?

  1. An Uber for Business organization for your company
  1. Sign-in information for your Uber for Business account
  2. Admin permissions on Uber for Business and on Ramp

Set up the integration

  1. Verify you have an Uber for Business account
  1. Create or link an existing Uber for Business organization
  1. Navigate to Company > Integrations
  2. Click on Receipt CaptureUber
  3. Click “ Connect app "
  4. Complete the linking or creation flow through Uber and authorize third-party access

Invite employees to this integration

  1. Click “Invite” to add employees to the integration
  2. You can add employees individually or in bulk through the roles dropdown

What can I do or see on the Uber integration page?

Add multiple Uber for business accounts

You can connect multiple Uber for Business accounts to Ramp. Each account must be linked separately.

To add an additional Uber for Business account:

  1. In Ramp, go to Company > App Center and open the Uber integration.
  2. Click the settings gear in the top-right of the integration page.
  3. Select Add another Uber for Business account .
  4. A QR code will appear. Scan the QR code with your mobile device to open the Uber app.
  5. In the Uber app, go to AccountBusiness HubAdd business profile .
  6. Add your work email and connect your Ramp Card , then select Ramp from the expense programs list and complete verification.
  7. Repeat steps 2–6 for each additional Uber for Business account you want to connect.

You will soon be receiving an invite, both via Email and Text, asking you to join the Ramp + Uber program. Below is a screenshot of what the email might look like. This is not spam!

Ramp and Uber have teamed up to integrate Uber into the Ramp platform to automate the process of filling out transaction details after taking an Uber ride or ordering via Uber Eats. As you know, you currently need to do a few things for each transaction on your corporate card. You need to attach a receipt and complete the memo. With this integration, allthis information will automatically be filled in after taking an Uber ride or ordering from Uber Eats.
