The New Policy Page & AI Agent
We are excited to announce a complete redesign of the Policy Page, rolling out in January 2026. This update transitions expense management from static rules to an intelligent, AI-first approach. The Policy section will move to the top of the page instead of the right side, but all other functionality remains the same. We've also added training materials on the feature. No immediate action is required and the agent must be activated manually via the setup flow by business admins once live.
The Policy Agent: a new standard
The Policy Agent is now the primary engine for expense management. We have redesigned the interface to help you visualize, monitor, and trust our agent.
Spend analysis
A new center card displays a trailing 90-day analysis of your business spend, categorized as in-policy based on your specific knowledge document once created and active.
Interactive data
Click into the analysis to visualize spend trends and inspect specific transactions.
- Accuracy Metrics: You can now see the percentage of transactions where the Agent's decision matched your manual reviewer's decision.
- Testing Mode: This metric is visible even if the Agent is only active for Admins. You can watch the Agent work in the background to verify its accuracy before enabling it for the entire company.
Policy knowledge
Easily update your policy logic via the Policy Editor on the left panel. See the most up-to-date support videos in the bar below.

Existing workflows
To accommodate the new AI features, we have reorganized existing manual workflows to reduce clutter and group related tasks.
- Expense approvals: Now clearly labeled as Approval Chains.
- Expense requirements: Centralized location for Receipt, Memo, and Accounting requirements for reimbursements and transactions.
- Spend approval requests: Dedicated section for requesting funds or new cards.
- Documentation: We have separated the upload/signing of static PDF policies from the active AI agent rules to avoid confusion.
