Microsoft Dynamics Business Central sync error: MISSING_PERMISSIONS Continia Document Capture

Microsoft Dynamics Business Central returns this error when Ramp tries to read a Continia Document Capture table that the Ramp Connector Entra application does not have permission to access:

MISSING_PERMISSIONS: Sorry, the current permissions prevented the action.

The message also includes a TableData reference — for example, TableData 6085590 CDC Document Document Read: Continia Document Capture — that names the specific Continia table Ramp could not read, along with a CorrelationId unique to your error. The table number and CorrelationId vary between occurrences, so the sync fails whenever the Ramp Connector lacks read access to the Continia table named in your message.

How to resolve

Grant the Ramp Connector Entra application read access to the Continia Document Capture tables. Because the specific table can differ between errors, add the Continia Document Capture permission set that covers all of the Continia tables rather than a single table.

1. In Business Central, search for and open Microsoft Entra Applications.
2. Open the Ramp Connector Entra application card.
3. In the User Permission Sets section, add the Continia Document Capture permission set that grants read access to the Continia tables.
4. On that permission line, leave the Company field blank so the permission applies across all of your companies.
5. Save your changes.
6. Return to Ramp and retry the sync.
