Overview
Ramp Card is a corporate charge card powered by the Visa network and built into Ramp's financial operations platform. Unlike credit cards that allow balances to carry over with interest, charge cards require the monthly balance to be paid in full each statement period.
Ramp is designed to help companies control spend, reduce manual expense work, and connect card activity to accounting workflows. Key capabilities include:
- Corporate cards with Spend Limits and policy controls
- Cashback on eligible card transactions
- Partner rewards
- Savings insights and Price Intelligence
- Procurement and vendor-management workflows for contract review and negotiation
Goodbye expense reports
- Issue cards and Spend Programs with daily, monthly, annual, or one-time limits.
- Receive alerts for spend that needs review.
- Set receipt, memo, and policy requirements for card transactions.
- Let Ramp match receipts to card transactions when employees text or email receipts.
Close your books faster
- Connect Ramp to accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, and other providers available for your plan.
- Use accounting rules and suggestions to map transactions to your accounting configuration.
- Remind users when receipts or memos are missing, and use card controls to prevent future spend when requirements are not met.
Empower your team. Stay in control
- Modify limits and approve requests as business needs change.
- Give managers visibility into their teams' spend.
- Restrict cards and Spend Programs by vendor, category, amount, and other controls.
- Use Ramp Intelligence to flag policy issues, suggest coding, and surface savings opportunities. Advanced automation and control features may require Ramp Plus.
