Overview
Ramp’s receipt capture functionality allows Ramp to automatically submit a request on your behalf to retrieve your receipt from select merchants when you transact with them. Once Ramp obtains the receipt, we will save a copy of the receipt and match it to your transaction.
If you use this feature, Ramp may need to provide certain transaction details to the merchant where you made the purchase (e.g., your name, email, booking confirmation or ticket number, purchase date, last four digits of the card used for the purchase, or zip code) in order to retrieve receipts from the merchant. For information about our privacy practices, you can also refer to our Privacy Policy.
The receipt capture feature is currently available for the following merchants:*
- Delta Airlines
- Square
- United Airlines
- Walmart
*Ramp also maintains direct integrations with additional merchants.
If you are an end user of a Ramp customer and don’t want to use the receipt capture feature, you can opt-out at any time. Simply navigate to the "Settings" tab on the Ramp web app, click "Edit profile" under the "Personal" tab, open the "Privacy" tab, and toggle “Automatically collect receipts” off. If you don’t see that option, it means your company’s Ramp account administrator has opted out of this feature for all of your company’s users, or your company is not eligible for this feature.
If you are an administrator for your organization’s Ramp account, you have the option to opt out of this feature on your company's behalf. To do that, on the Ramp web app, open the “Company” tab in the sidebar, select “Expense” policy, then “Expense requirements”, and toggle “Automatically collect receipts” off.
