Ramp’s Partner Tiers program recognizes and rewards the partners who help clients get the most value from Ramp. Whether you refer many clients or fewer high-impact ones, our structure is designed to reflect your contribution.

Accounting firms

Measured by all-time referral customers or aggregate Client Spend Potential (CSP).

Client spend potential (CSP)

You’ve seen CSP referenced throughout this article as an alternate path to grow your tier. Here’s how it works and how Ramp calculates it.

What is it?
Client Spend Potential (CSP) is Ramp’s estimate of the monthly financial impact driven by your referred clients. It’s designed to reward the quality of your referrals—not just the quantity.

How it's calculated:

Client Spend Potential = [Estimated Monthly Card Spend] + ([Estimated Monthly Bill Pay Spend] ÷ 10)

What counts toward client referrals and CSP?

Can I move tiers mid-quarter?

No—tiers update on a quarterly cadence (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1).

For partners who are measured on trailing 12-month metrics, when am I at risk of losing my tier status?

We have a grace period where no partners will lose tier status before April 1, 2026.

Is Champion status available for all partners?

Currently, it’s exclusive to Accounting Firms. Equivalent recognition for other verticals is being considered.

Where can I track performance?

Your Advisor Console will display your current tier.
