Ramp’s Partner Tiers program recognizes and rewards the partners who help clients get the most value from Ramp. Whether you refer many clients or fewer high-impact ones, our structure is designed to reflect your contribution.
Accounting firms
Measured by all-time referral customers or aggregate Client Spend Potential (CSP).

In addition to the Silver, Gold, and Platinum statuses, Accounting Partners can also be highlighted as a Ramp Champion. This is reserved for Silver and above Accounting Partners.
- Champions are required to:
- Complete 2+ Partner Academy courses
- Be a Ramp partner for 12+ months
- Use Ramp within their own firm
- Champions get additional benefits including:
- Recognition in an annual blog post, published on Ramp.com and promoted in our social media channels
- Eligibility for yearly marketing development funds for co-branded campaigns
- Eligibility to host or co-host events at Ramp HQ, pending availability

Client spend potential (CSP)
You’ve seen CSP referenced throughout this article as an alternate path to grow your tier. Here’s how it works and how Ramp calculates it.
What is it?
Client Spend Potential (CSP) is Ramp’s estimate of the monthly financial impact driven by your referred clients. It’s designed to reward the quality of your referrals—not just the quantity.
How it's calculated:
Client Spend Potential = [Estimated Monthly Card Spend] + ([Estimated Monthly Bill Pay Spend] ÷ 10)
How to view your CSP:
- At launch (April 22): CSP will not appear in your Advisor Console.
- Coming in Q4 2025: You'll see CSP, client impact, and more metrics added to your Console view.
- Curious about your current CSP? Reach out to your partner manager.
Frequently asked questions
What counts toward client referrals and CSP?
- Customer referrals = clients who became Ramp customers from your referral.
- CSP = the estimated monthly spend across your client book based on Ramp usage potential (through card spend and Bill Pay).
Can I move tiers mid-quarter?
No—tiers update on a quarterly cadence (Jan 1, Apr 1, Jul 1, Oct 1).
For partners who are measured on trailing 12-month metrics, when am I at risk of losing my tier status?
We have a grace period where no partners will lose tier status before April 1, 2026.
Is Champion status available for all partners?
Currently, it’s exclusive to Accounting Firms. Equivalent recognition for other verticals is being considered.
Where can I track performance?
Your Advisor Console will display your current tier.
