This error means that Ramp tried to reference an invoice in Sage Intacct using RECORDNO - invoice:{invoice_number}, but that record number isn’t recognized. This usually points to a mismatch between what Ramp is referencing and what actually exists in Intacct.
How to resolve:
- Sign in to Sage Intacct and go to Accounts Payable > Invoices.
- Search for the RECORDNO or the external invoice number.
- If no invoice is found, it may have been deleted or was never synced.
- Check your Ramp to Intacct mapping to confirm the invoice is linked to the correct RECORDNO.
- If the reference is invalid, remove or unlink the invoice from the Ramp record.
- Return to Ramp and retry the sync with only valid records.
