Overview

Ramp has received the following error message from your Accounting Provider Sage:

Unable to determine correct checking account: No accounts returned

How to resolve

Please follow these steps to resolve this error from Sage:

  1. Create a checking account at the top-level entity in Sage.
  2. Select the General Ledger (GL) account in Ramp that belongs to the newly created checking account.
  3. Ensure that the correct cash account is linked to one checking account.
  4. Verify that the selected default account in Ramp is a checking account.
  5. Confirm that the Sage GL code is mapped to exactly one bank account.
  6. Adjust any additional GL settings as necessary.
  7. Save and re-sync your accounts in Ramp.
  8. Test the configuration to ensure the issue is resolved.
  9. Reach out to Ramp Support if further assistance is needed.
