Issue
The issue is occurring because items that are treated as inventory items can also be tagged with a bin for tracking purposes. This field is required when activated. (Not all companies use Intacct this way.)
Background
Ramp has built the purchasing integration, but has not yet built lot tracking. Therefore, Ramp does not currently support purchasing transactions on inventory items that require lot or bin information.
How to resolve
To resolve this issue with the way the integration is currently built, handle the PO Matching completely in Intacct for this type of use case. You can do the following:
- Use the Import Bills feature in Intacct.
- Match the PO to a bill directly in Intacct.
- Sync the bill over to Ramp .
- Make the payment in Ramp.
- Sync the payment back to Intacct .
