Ramp Checking Account Bank Feeds: Zohobooks Set Up

This article applies to both Ramp Checking Accounts and Ramp Operating Accounts. Bank feeds do not support Ramp Investment Accounts.

This guide shows you how to set up an automatic bank feed for your Ramp Checking Account or Ramp Operating Account in Zoho Books using Plaid to easily import your transactions.

1. Initiate the Connection

• Open Zoho Books in an internet browser (e.g. Chrome or Safari etc...).
• Navigate to the Banking module in the left sidebar of Zoho Books.
• Click the Add Bank or Credit Card button on the top right.
• On the "Connect and add your bank or credit card accounts" page, click Connect Now under the Automatic Bank Feeds Supported Banks section.
• Select " Bank Feeds Service Provider: Plaid "
• A pop-up window will appear with the End User License Agreement (EULA) for the bank feeds service provider, Plaid. Check the box that says "I have read and agree to all the end user terms for automatic bank feeds."
• Click Proceed .

2. Connect via Plaid

• A new Plaid connection window will open. Sign-in with your Plaid account or click continue as guest.
• Search for and select Ramp .
• Click Continue to sign-in .
• You will be redirected to Ramp's secure sign-in page. Enter your Ramp sign-in credentials and follow any prompts to authorize Plaid to connect to your account.
• Review the data that Plaid will share with Zoho Books and click Allow (or the corresponding confirmation button).
• Plaid will process the connection. Once complete, you will see a "Connected!" message.

3. Select Accounts and Complete Setup

• Plaid will display a list of your accounts from your financial institution. Select the accounts you want to connect to Zoho Books (e.g., "JPM Wallet 1," "Increase Account," etc.). You can select multiple accounts at this stage.
• Click Continue .
• A final pop-up will appear in Zoho Books showing the connected accounts. Review the accounts that are active.
• Click Add proceed (or Proceed ) to finalize the setup and allow Zoho Books to start fetching transactions.

Your bank feed is now connected. Transactions will automatically be imported into the Banking module for the connected accounts, ready for you to match and categorize.
