Quickbooks Online Sync Error | Cannot add link to existing line
What’s happening
QuickBooks Online does not allow a Purchase Order to be attached to a Bill after the Bill has already been created. In this case, the Bill was created first and the PO was added afterward. When Ramp attempts to sync that update, QBO rejects it with the error:
“Cannot add link to existing line”
In QBO, the PO must be linked at the time the Bill is created.
How to resolve the issue
- To successfully sync the Bill with the PO, the Bill needs to be recreated with the PO attached from the start.
