Ramp has received the following error message from your Accounting Provider QuickBooks Online:

A business validation error has occurred while processing your request

Business Validation Error: Please choose a credit card to pay.

Why is this happening?

You need to change your Ramp Credit Card in QuickBooks to a Credit Card Account.

How do I resolve this error?

To resolve this error, the Ramp Credit Card account in your instance of QuickBooks needs to be a “Credit Card” account. You can make this adjustment by following the steps below in your QuickBooks Account:

In QuickBooks navigate to Bookkeeping -> Chart of Accounts -> Ramp Card -> Edit (you will need to click the down arrow in “Action”). Once you complete this step, please reattempt the sync.
