QuickBooks Desktop Sync Error: The name {name} already exists in the Other Names list

Steps to resolve the duplicate name conflict in QuickBooks Desktop (QBD):

  1. Identify the conflicting duplicate name within Lists > Vendors, Customers, Employees, and Other Names in QBD.
  2. Rename the conflicting record or make the record inactive.
  3. Attempt to rerun the Ramp import again.
