NetSuite Sync Error | There is already a vendor using that entity name. All vendors must have a unique entity name.
This error occurs because NetSuite requires all vendors to have unique entity names. If a vendor with the same name already exists in NetSuite, even if it's inactive, Ramp cannot create a new vendor with that name, resulting in a sync error.
How to resolve:
- Sign in to NetSuite and search for vendors.
- Check the "Include inactive" box to view all vendors.
- If you find an inactive vendor with the same name, activate it.
- Refresh your Ramp instance. The vendor should now appear and be available for selection.
- If the vendor still does not appear, manually link the Ramp merchant to the existing NetSuite vendor.
- Return to Ramp and retry the sync.
