NetSuite Sync Error: The field memo contained more than the maximum number ( 999 ) of characters allowed.

Please try these steps in NetSuite:

  1. Open the Bill: Go to the bill that’s showing the error in Ramp.
  2. Click "Edit": Scroll to the bottom of the bill and click the Edit button.
  3. Clean Up the Affected Line: Locate the line with the long memo text and clean it up by removing or shortening unnecessary details.
  4. Shorten the Memo: Reduce the memo text until it’s under the 999-character limit.
  5. Save the Changes: Once you’ve shortened the memo, click Save to update the bill.
  6. Resync to NetSuite: After saving, click the three dots (⋯) at the bottom of the bill and select Resync to NetSuite.
