NetSuite Sync Error | Permission Violation: You need a higher level of the Transactions > Credit Card permission to access this page. Please contact your account administrator.

Overview

This error occurs when the NetSuite role used for the Ramp integration does not have sufficient permissions for the Credit Card transaction type.

Step 1: Update the role in NetSuite

1. In NetSuite, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
2. Locate the role used for the integration.
3. Click Edit on that role.
4. Click the Permissions tab, then the Transactions subtab.
5. Locate Credit Card in the list and set the permission level to Edit.
6. Save the role.

Step 2: Retry the sync in Ramp

1. In Ramp, navigate to Accounting > Card Transactions.
2. Locate the affected transaction.
3. Retry the sync.
