Loading company's negotiated hotel rates

Overview

If Hotel corporate rates appears in Ramp Travel settings, an admin can request loading negotiated rates with specific hotels for employees booking through Ramp Travel. Available negotiated rates appear automatically in hotel search results and are labeled Corporate rate in room selection, so employees do not need to enter any codes manually.

How it works

  1. Submit hotel details: An admin submits the hotel information in Ramp Travel settings under Rates & programs.
  2. Rate loading: Ramp works with its travel agency partner to load the negotiated rates. The partner contacts the hotel directly to complete setup, which typically takes ~4 weeks.
  3. Rates appear in search: Once setup is complete, employees searching for that hotel on Ramp will see available negotiated rates labeled Corporate rate in the room selection list. Employees can also filter rooms by Corporate rate to find them quickly.

How do employees see the negotiated rates? Available negotiated rates appear automatically in hotel search and under Corporate rate in room selection; see How it works.

How many hotel corporate-rate requests can the company submit? Your Rates & programs page shows your current request allowance. Accounts with unlimited access can submit unlimited hotel corporate-rate requests. Otherwise, you can submit up to five initial requests over the lifetime of your account. Every initial request counts toward this limit, including canceled requests.

Can Ramp load chain-level rates that apply across multiple locations? Yes. Chain-wide negotiated rates are available to all customers on Ramp Plus.

Can employees manually enter promo codes or discount codes for hotels? No. Ramp Travel does not support manually entering promo codes or discount codes for hotel bookings.
