Limitations for international reimbursements
Overview
Some businesses may not be able to use international reimbursements on Ramp. These limitations are based on where your business is based and the industry your business operates in.

When these limitations apply
USD-funded reimbursements
For USD-funded reimbursements, these limitations apply when the payment is being sent internationally. Your business may still be able to use domestic payment methods, such as ACH or domestic wire, when those methods are available on Ramp.
Reimbursements funded in CAD, EUR, or GBP
Reimbursements funded in CAD, EUR, or GBP are treated as international payments on Ramp. The limitations in this article apply.
When international reimbursements aren't available
Businesses based in Nevada
Businesses based in Nevada can't use international reimbursements on Ramp at this time, and exceptions aren't available.
Not currently supported industries
Businesses in the following industries can't use international reimbursements on Ramp at this time:
- Cryptocurrency companies
- Money service businesses
- Tobacco
- Adult content
- Gambling and online gaming
- Weapons and military goods
- Cannabis-related businesses
When enhanced due diligence (EDD) is required
Enhanced review industries
Businesses in the following industries require Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) before international reimbursements can be enabled:
- Company establishment services
- Freelance platforms
- Crowdfunding
- Charities and non-profits
- Financial services businesses
- Holding companies
- Insurance companies
- Investment companies
- Alcohol
- Pharmaceuticals
- Pharmacies
- Government services
- Automotive sales
- Chemicals
- Precious stones and metals
- Marketplaces and auction sites
- Ride-sharing services

Frequently asked questions
If my business is USD-funded, can I still use ACH or domestic wire?
Yes. These limitations apply only when the reimbursement is being sent internationally. If domestic payment methods are available on Ramp, you may still be able to use them.
