People: invite staff and assign to clients
Overview
Advisor Console administrators are responsible for inviting their team to the Console. This article breaks down how you can make individual invites and bulk invites and check the status of invites.
Invite team members to the Advisor Console

Bulk invite
- Go to the People tab.
- Click the Bulk Invite button to invite all your team members at once. This works well when initially setting up your Advisor Console, and you have a lot of staff to onboard.
- Download our template and fill in a CSV or Excel file with your team members' emails and designated roles on the Console (User or Admin).
- To understand the difference between the two roles, go to Advisor Console roles and permissions.
- Upload your file and then click Send Invites. The team members will receive their invites directly in their email inboxes.
Invite individual user
You can also invite individual team members, one at a time.
- Go to the People tab.
- Click Invite Team.
- Select either Admin or User.
- To understand the difference between the two roles, go to Advisor Console roles and permissions.
- Enter your staff member's email address.
- Click Send Invites.
Check invite status
To check the status of pending invites, go to Pending Invites on the People tab. Once the staff member has clicked through the invitation and set up a Console Account, they'll show up on your People tab.
If an invite has expired (over 14 days have passed since it was initially sent), you'll also be able to see that here and have the option to re-send the invite.
Track Ramp Academy progress
You can monitor your team's certification status from the People tab.
- For each user, you can click into their row in the People table and review their Academy progress.
- In the People table, you can also click Nudge to certify to ask them to complete certification.
Assign staff to clients
After inviting staff, assign them to specific clients so they can access those accounts.
- For each user, you can click into their row in the People table and assign them to clients.
- Clicking Add [Name] to clients opens a pane that lets you choose a role and assign the user to clients.
