Ramp’s client billing feature allows partners using the Advisor Console to easily manage all Ramp service fees (Ramp Plus and Bill Pay fees) for their clients. Partners can view consolidated client statements and payments in the Client billing tab.
Set up client billing for your firm 
To enable client billing for your firm, reach out to our Channel Partner Management team.
Once your client billing is enabled for your firm, follow these steps:
- Choose Set up client billing
- Select the clients you would like to enroll in client billing (if any)
- Connect your bank account by entering your account number and routing number
- You’re done! Within 2 business days, you’ll see two small debit transactions in your bank account. Return to the advisor console and enter the values of those debits to ensure that client billing payments succeed. See here for more on verifying bank accounts.
Onboarding clients to client billing 
Your firm can onboard new clients to client billing by navigating to Clients > click Add a client
Option 1: Yes, help apply and invite them > select Request upgrade to Plus
- Once your client joins the Console, your partnership manager will reach out with next steps.
Option 2: No, just invite them > select Request upgrade to Plus
- Once your client joins the Console, your partnership manager will reach out with next steps.
Option 3: My client is already on Ramp
- Once your client joins the Console, you'll be able to navigate to Clients > select respective client > click Request upgrade
- Your partnership manager will reach out by email with next steps
Managing Ramp Plus for your client 
Only advisor accounts with admin access to the client’s Ramp account can adjust Ramp Plus settings. To give advisors the ability to add admin users, the client must:
- Navigate to the Company
- Select People tab
- Select Accounting firms tab
- Select respective client
- Click edit
- Toggle allowed roles

What are Ramp service fees?
Accounting firms can elect to cover Ramp service fees for customers. Ramp service fees via client billing fall into two categories:
- Ramp Plus fees cover the Ramp Plus subscription, offering advanced flexibility, scale, and integrations to address our customers’ most complex financial needs.
- Bill Pay fees cover fees for same-day ACH ($10), Swift USD ($20), and domestic wire ($15) payments. These fees are waived when made from a Ramp Business account.
Is the partner or the client paying for Ramp Plus?
- You’ll be able to see who is paying for Ramp Plus by navigating to Clients > select respective client > view Ramp Plus section
- The charges for your latest billing period can be found by navigating to the Client billing tab
