What should I do if there is an unauthorized charge on my card?
In the event of suspected fraudulent activity, please follow these steps:
- Lock your card. All customers have the ability to lock any of their cards at any time by clicking on the card at the top of their home page. This will prevent any further activity on the card.
- Reach out to the merchant involved. Next we ask that the customer first reach out to the merchant involved the suspected fraudulent transaction to attempt to resolve the issue with them. This is always the fastest way to overturn a transaction.
- Contact support@ramp.com so that our team can investigate and assist you in disputing unauthorized or fraudulent charges. Please send us evidence of your contact with the merchant for next steps in the process, including terminating and reissuing a card, as well as escalating with the merchant(s) involved in the transaction(s) who are unresponsive or unwilling to overturn any charges.
Rest assured that Ramp will be on your side every step of the way. Ramp cards are supported by the Visa network and are protected by the Visa Zero Liability Guarantee. This policy guarantees that you won't be held responsible for unauthorized charges made with your account or account information. You're protected if your Visa credit or debit card is lost, stolen or fraudulently used, online or offline.
