Ramp’s integration with Conferma enables your travel management company to programmatically provision Ramp virtual cards for your business travel spend. Your travelers, including those who may not have their own Ramp physical card, can book corporate travel trips (e.g., hotels, airlines) with virtual card payment. Card details and transaction history will be visible on Ramp as well as SNAP reporting provided by Conferma.
Prerequisites
- You must be on or upgrade to Ramp Plus
- You must create a new user using a service account email and assign a business admin role (e.g., travel@companyabc.com)
- This will be used as a dedicated Ramp user for the Conferma integration
- All bookings made through Conferma will be associated with this centralized user in Ramp.
Integration steps
Configuration process
- Reach out to your AM or Ramp Support to discuss eligibility and use case approval. Your Ramp team will start the review process on your behalf.
- Once approved, you will receive a Conferma onboarding request form to kick off the implementation, including your consent to share your information with your TMC and Conferma.
- Once the form is returned to us, Ramp will create a Conferma account (“Card Pool”) on your behalf.
- All virtual cards issued by the Conferma API are associated with a 'card pool'. A card pool is the account that is mapped to the funding or settlement account on the card issuing platform.
- Once your Card Pool is created, we will alert your TMC and Conferma to complete the implementation.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the implementation take place?
While Ramp takes up to 5 business days to create a Card Pool to kick off the process, the overall end-to-end implementation can take up to a month due to additional setup and quality assurance steps by your TMC and Conferma.
How do I reconcile bookings and transactions?
Card details and transaction history will be visible on Ramp. Conferma also provides SNAP reporting, which you can reference to reconcile the transactions posted on Ramp.
How can I collect hotel receipts for reservations made via the Conferma integration?
Conferma collects hotel receipts which you can view within the Conferma portal. Reach out to your Conferma representative to learn more about the process.
