Overview
With Ramp’s Google Calendar integration, Ramp can get context on the events your employees attend when they make a specific transaction to better inform AI workflows such as suggested memos and meal attendees. For example, if your employee pays for dinner with their Ramp card and there is a meeting with a client on their calendar around the same time, Ramp can apply this context to the suggested memo and attendee list.

Important Information:
- Ramp Admins set up Google Calendar Integration at the company level (employees don't need to set it up individually). Contact your company's Ramp administrator for assistance!
- Ramp Admins must also be Google Workplace Admins or coordinate with their Google Workplace Admins to complete the integration.
Security
Ramp’s Google Calendar integration is easy to set up and secure. We access limited data and use it temporarily to improve Ramp's AI workflows. The integration looks only at shared calendar events and does not view private calendar events. Calendar details may be stored temporarily for processing, and full event details are not stored long-term.
How does it work?
Once the integration is set up, Ramp will leverage the calendar event context for two features:
- Suggested meal attendees - Ramp pulls the calendar event attendees as suggestions to add to the "Who did you pay for" field.
- Suggested memos - If the calendar event has an event description with relevant information, we will use this to inform a suggested memo for the transaction.
