Overview
Early customers of Ramp – customers who submitted a Ramp financial application and/or had an existing Ramp account before September 19, 2023 – were given full access to all Ramp Plus features until September 2024 through a complimentary 1-year trial. At the end of the trial, early customers will have the option to continue with Ramp Plus or revert back to all the features they had before the trial began at no cost.
How it works
If you decide not to continue with Ramp Plus after the complimentary 1-year trial period, we will revert you back to all the features you had before your trial began at no cost. We will notify you well in advance of the end of the complimentary trial period. By default, we will not charge Ramp Plus without your consent.

What do I get as an early customer?
As an early customer, you will have full access to all Ramp Plus features until September 2024. Ramp Plus–a more powerful edition on top of our core platform–offers advanced controls, automations, and integrations to address our customers’ most complex financial needs. With this newest edition, companies of all sizes can now rely on Ramp as their ultimate finance platform to save time and money as they scale and manage their finance operations from end to end.
If you decide not to continue with Ramp Plus after the complimentary 1-year trial period, we will revert your account back to all the features you had before the trial began at no cost.
We will notify you well in advance of the end of the complimentary trial period. By default, we will not charge Ramp Plus without your consent.
Will I be notified before the complimentary 1-year trial period ends in September 2024? Are you going to automatically charge me?
Yes, we will notify you well in advance of the end of your complimentary trial period to ensure that you are not surprised if new Ramp Plus features become unavailable.
We will not charge for Ramp Plus without your consent. This is not an automatic renewal. If you choose not to upgrade, you will lose access to the new Plus features (left column above) at the end of the 1-year complimentary period. We will revert your account back to all the features you had before the trial began at no cost.
How will I know which features are Ramp Plus versus free in the product during the trial?
Your Ramp Account will display a Plus badge beside any new feature that will require you to be on a paid plan after September 2024 to access the feature. Any feature you will get for free after September 2024 as part of being an early customer, such as direct Netsuite or Sage integration and auto-locking cards, will not show the Plus badge. Thus, your Ramp account instance will look different from another business that is not an early customer.
For example, you will see a Plus badge beside Policy Rules, giving admins and managers expense auditing intelligence (Settings > Company Settings > Policy Rules). This indicates that this is a Plus feature that will require you to pay for access after the complimentary trial period.
