Foreign transaction fees
Overview
Ramp may charge transaction fees on certain transactions. Below are examples of when these fees can occur.
- SWIFT payment network - When sending US Dollars to a bank account outside the United States via the SWIFT payment network, your bill payment or reimbursement may have an associated transaction fee. ( Platform Agreement )
- International bill payments and reimbursements - Ramp may include a margin on foreign exchange. ( Payment Card Addendum )
- International card transactions - Some international charges may clear in a currency other than your settlement currency and will undergo a currency conversion determined by network partner Visa plus a markup not exceeding 3% . ( Payment Card Addendum )
