Google Drive integration: Connect a company account in Glass
Overview
Early Access. For access information, see Request access to Glass.
Connect a shared Google Drive account to Glass using Google sign-in. This creates a company connection, not a personal connection.
Anyone in your business who uses Glass can use what this account can access. Choose an account whose Google Drive access is appropriate for that audience. Do not sign in with your own account.
Before you connect Google Drive to Glass
- You need permission to manage Glass for your company.
- Google Drive must be available and turned on in your company's Glass plugins.
- These steps are for the first company account, when no Google Drive company account has been added yet.
- Have access to a Google account your team shares, such as an IT or admin account.
If Google Drive is turned off, open company Plugins in Glass, find Google Drive, open its actions menu, and select Turn on.
If you cannot open company Plugins, ask the person who manages Glass for your company to complete this setup.
Connect the Google Drive company account to Glass
- Open company Plugins in Glass.
- Find Google Drive, open its actions menu, and select Open settings.
- In Company account, select Connect company account.
- Review the account-sharing notice, then select Continue.
- Complete Google sign-in using the shared account, not your own account.
- Return to Glass and check that the account appears under Company account with the status Connected.
